Lower Merion School Board approves scaling back on students’ device use

The Lower Merion School Board has passed a new rule scaling back device use for students. Elementary students will no longer get take-home devices. Middle school students will get devices that can go home under certain circumstances. And, high school students will get equipment with no time cap. The new rules do not include an option to completely opt out of tech -- something a large group of parents demanded.
