A 48-year-old man faces murder charges, accused of shooting and killing another man during an argument in North Philly. It was shortly before 7 o'clock Sunday evening when police say Eric Beverly got into a fight with 40-year-old Spanish Alexander of Germantown, pulled a gun and pulled the trigger. When officers arrived at the scene on Ridge Drive near 27th Street, they found Alexander shot in the chest. He was rushed to a nearby hospital in critical condition, but later died from his injuries.
