Man robbed of $30K, beaten with baseball bat in Olney

Police are looking for a group of people they say beat a man and robbed him of tens of thousands of dollars in cash in Olney early Sunday morning. It was after 2 a.m. when police say they found the man along North Sixth Street, near Ruscomb Street, with visible injuries to his head. The man then told officers he was on his way home from an event in North Philly when several people with a baseball bat came up to him, beat him, and took his bag that had $30,000 in cash before running away.
