PECO workers to walk off the job at midnight if new contract is not met

At midnight on July 4, PECO workers part of IBEW Local 614 will walk off the job if they do not agree to a new contract with the company. Negotiations are ongoing between union representatives and PECO. Workers are seeking raises, a new retirement benefit system and improvements to healthcare benefits.
