Congresswomen Madeleine Dean and Chrissy Houlahan are endorsing Dr. Ala Stanford for Congress.
Dean calls Stanford a "steadfast champion for health equity" and a "person who gets things done."
Houlahan says Stanford's "voice will strengthen the fight for healthier, more equitable communities."
Stanford is running for Congressman Dwight Evans' seat. Evans has endorsed her.
Meanwhile, Mayor Cherelle Parker and several City Council members have endorsed state Sen. Sharif Street.
