Are You Ready? Daylight Savings Starts This Sunday!

spring clock

The clock springs ahead on Sunday (3/8) and the loss of an hour can have negative effects on some people. Here are a few tips.

If possible, get up a little early on Sunday morning so that you're tired enough on Sunday night to fall asleep.

Be extra careful the first few days of next week when starting your day. There are more car and work accidents in the first few days after Daylight Savings Time is in place.

Do all that you can do to get a good night sleep those first few evenings so that your body and mind can adjust. Sleep deprivation is common during this time transition and losing that extra hour can sometimes trigger depression.

Bottom line, take care of yourself and enjoy the longer days!! -Bryan
