Actress Kathy Baker and Vietnam Women's Memorial founder Diane Carlson Evans discuss the National Memorial Day Concert
The National Memorial Day Concert on PBS returns on Sunday, May 30th with performances and tributes from Washington D.C. and around the country, honoring all of our American heroes. The all-star lineup will be hosted by Joe Mantegna and Gary Sinese, and we can also expect appearances and performances from General Colin Powell, Gladys Knight, Vince Gill, Sara Bareilles, Alan Jackson, Denyce Graves, the Four Tops, Steve Buscemi, Joe Morton, Brian d’Arcy James, Mary McCormack, Bailee Madison, and the National Symphony Orchestra, with a special performance of the National Anthem by Mickey Guyton. It will also include a 20th anniversary remembrance of 9/11 and a special tribute to our heroic American nurses from the Vietnam War, including Vietnam Women's Memorial founder Diane Carlson Evans, which will be led by actress Kathy Baker.
