As we commemorate Martin Luther King, Jr Day, America’s reckoning with racism and the systems of inequity that have negatively impacted communities of color is long overdue. We are in a moment of opportunity to heal from the wounds of systemic racism and repair the chasm in our national fabric that can be felt at the community level, even impacting families and individual relationships.

This Tuesday, January 18th, the W.K. Kellogg Foundation (WKKF) will virtually host its sixth annual National Day of Racial Healing, an afternoon of music, conversation and solidarity featuring leading advocates, artists and influencers engaging in critical discussions about racial equity and healing with a timely call to action for positive change.

Dr. Icela Pelayo, Program Officer at the W.K. Kellogg Foundation, invites us to this virtual event and to celebrate using #HowWeHeal.
