Pop icon Madonna knows she’s been a bit of a "sinner" in the context of her religious upbringing, but she’s now looking for another chance to get into good graces, asking for a private meeting with the Pope to discuss some issues important to her.

Madonna famously told Late Late Show host James Corden while doing some Carpool Karaoke that she had been tossed from the Catholic community not once or twice, but three separate times throughout her career. She brought this up again, to the Pope mind you, saying, “It doesn’t seem fair.”

Madge's message, directed squarely at the Church's leader, tells Pope Francis, "I’m a good Catholic. I Swear! I mean I don’t Swear!," adding, “Its been a few decades since my last confession. Would it be possible to meet up one day to discuss some important matters?”

What exactly Madonna would like to discuss is anyone's guess -- honestly, you could pick and choose from any number of current events. What she will likely NOT talk to the Pope about is her upcoming remix project that was just announced -- Finally Enough Love and the Finally Enough Love: 50 Number Ones expanded edition. But hey, you never know.
