Officially confirming what the collective internet has been suspecting for months, Halle Bailey shared that she and boyfriend DDG welcomed their first child together, a baby boy, named Halo.

Taking to Instagram with the exciting news, Halle shared a photo of the pair holding their son's tiny little hand wearing a nameplate bracelet. To caption the post Halle wrote, "Even though we're a few days into the new year, the greatest thing that 2023 could have done for me, was bring me my son.. welcome to the world my halo. the world is desperate to know you.”
Halle and DDG first sparked romance rumors in January 2022 while attending Usher's Las Vegas residency, going IG official very soon after on Halle’s 22nd birthday in March, despite remaining primarily private about their relationship.
Rumors of The Little Mermaid star potentially being pregnant started circulating earlier this year, a few months after promotions for the Disney Princess remake wrapped in late May, with many theorizing Bailey had a growing bump after she was spotted in loose clothing on multiple occasions.
In August, Halle Bailey and her sister Chlöe were spotted at Beyoncé's Renaissance tour stop in Atlanta; and while Chlöe donned a midriff-bearing ensemble, Halle opted for an oversized pink dress shirt from Valentino. Then in September, Halle wore a flowing dress to the 2023 MTV VMAs, only further fueling the rumors.
Speculations continued as Bailey attended various Europe fashion weeks, also donning more discreet, looser styles. Rumors piqued once again in October 2023, when new pictures of Bailey and DDG exiting a medical facility started circulating online that showed Bailey with a rather noticeable baby bump. Many took these pictures as confirmation of the pregnancy there and then, but it's worth noting that the couple did not comment or confirm anything — that is until now.
