City Park 3rd of July Celebration
July 3rd, New Orleans City Park's Great Lawn
The festivities begin at 6pm with music by the Marine Forces Reserve Band and culminates with fabulous fireworks atop the Peristyle at 9pm. Free.
Uncle Sam Jam
July 3rd, Metairie's Lafreniere Park
John Waite and Wilson Phillips headline an afternoon and evening of fun and fireworks. Free but VIP parking and passes available.
St Charles Parish Independence Day Celebration
July 3rd, West Bank Bridge Park in Luling
Annual celebration with lots of activities and food vendors. Fireworks show starts around 9pm. Free.
Go 4th on the River
July 4th, New Orleans Riverfront
Huge fireworks display, red white and blue water sprayed from the river and the biggest display of the year. Free.
Light Up the Lakefront
July 4th, Mandeville
The fun includes a Mande Milkshakers parade at 3pm, music by Groovy 7, lots of food trucks, and fireworks over the lake. Free.
St Bernard Salutes America
July 4th, Civic Center Grounds in Chalmette
Music from Adam Pearce and Peyton Falgoust Band with food and drinks for sale. Fireworks. Free.
Sparks in the Park
July 4, Bogue Falaya Park, Covington
Celebrating America's Independence Day with fun for all ages. Picnics welcome, but food and drinks available for sale. Fireworks at dusk. Free to attend.
Madisonville Old Fashioned 4th of July
July 4th, Madisonville Town Hall
All-day event along the Tchefuncte with games and fun followed by fireworks. Free.
Abita Springs 4th of July Celebration
