Bonus chances for candy and extra wears for those costumes? Sign us up! Here are a few more fun events in and around New Orleans you can do as a family to make the most of Halloween 2021.

Peek-a-Boo at the Zoo: Wednesday, October 20, through Sunday, October 24, during regular Zoo hours - 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. This daytime celebration will provide fun for the whole family and some of the Zoo’s animals too, ensuring that guests create spooktacular memories. Peek-a-Boo at the Zoo guests are invited to wear their favorite costume as they partake in the festivities, including trick-or-treat stations located throughout the Zoo on Saturday and Sunday.

Boo Carré Halloween Haunt: Saturday, October 23rd from 10am-4:30pm. Free and open to the public. The day will feature trick-or-treating, live music, and kid's activities! Costumes recommended for kid's and highly encouraged for everyone else!

Faubourg Brewery Halloween Celebration: Friday and Saturday, October 29th and 30th. Bounce houses, crafts and trick or treating for the kids along with live music and, of course, beer for the parents. Free.

Lafreniere Park Trunk or Treat: Friday, October 29th from 6pm-9pm. The event will be held at Lafreniere Park in the North Mall Parking Lot between the Copeland Meadow and Mall Island. Tickets will be $5.00 per child 12 and under. There will also be food trucks on-site with refreshments available for purchase.

"Alla"ween Halloween Scavenger Hunt: Saturday, October 30th at 11am. The Krewe of Alla will host a scavenger hunt for a fun twist on how to find their throws in an event for all ages. Keep an eye on their Facebook page for details.

Halloween Farmers Market at City Park: Sunday, October 31st from 8am-12pm. Kids activities, spooky crafts, live music and more along with the traditional farmer's market goods.

Malloween at Lakeside Shopping Center: Sunday, October 31st from 10am-12noon. Up to 5 family members per $50 family pass, children under 1 are free. The voucher includes a Raising Cane's meal voucher. A train ride voucher for all children in your party on Frankie's Flying Monster Train. One 5” x 7" Fall family photo from Welliver Photography. New Orleans Mom swag bag and your trick-or-treating.

Halloween on Magazine: Sunday, October 31st from 12noon - 4pm. The second annual Halloween on Magazine is a trick or treating event that encourages families and neighbors to visit Magazine Street between Henry Clay and Jefferson. Look for businesses passing out candy and other treats in store.
