Pokémon is celebrating their 25th anniversary, not by explaining to me how those cards are an actual game of some sort that I've never seen my kids play no matter how many cards I've bought them... but with a ton of musical partnerships. And this one is great!
Post Malone covered the Hootie and the Blowfish song "I Only Wanna Be with You" and he did an amazing version! Could he have changed the lyrics to "only wanna Pikachuuuuu"??? Sure. But I still like it. :)
This Saturday night, aka Pokémon Day, there will be a virtual version of Post Malone performing a concert on the Pokémon YouTube page for their anniversary. It's also the kickoff to the P25 Music Program where they'll partner with artists like Katy Perry to create music "through the lens of Pokémon" the company said.
