Hi, I'm Luna and foster mom says that I'm a reallly cool dog! They think I might be a Black Mouth Cur/German Shepherd mix, but they're certain that I'm VERY smart, a fast learner, and a very good girl!
I'm good with other dogs and kids, but I haven't been around cats much. At around 2 years old and 45 lbs, I'm still an energetic young lady. I LOVE walks, because my nose always tells me where to go. I walk well on leash, although I might pull when I want to say hi to another dog. I do need at least one good walk a day, but I can also match your energy and be calm when needed.
I'd love a home with a fenced yard to run in and would do best with another dog and/or an active household. I am unfortunately heartworm positive, but the rescue will cover my treatment and then I'll be ready to play! I'm kennel trained, but I'm such a good girl that I don't really need it! I already know how to sit and my foster mom is teaching me more verbal commands and hand signals. I love learning, especially when there's a tasty treat involved.
