One day one of the Take Paws Rescue coordinators visited a shelter and it happened to be the special day for Maggie- she was in labor with her five puppies. They soon pulled her from the shelter and for the past two months Maggie has been an amazing momma to her babies. After weeks of being patient, loving, and busy, she is ready for her well deserved lifetime of TLC.

Maggie is an approximately three year old terrier/australian cattle dog mix. She is fully grown at around 40 pounds with the funniest, wide bat ears! Maggie is generally very quiet with the attentive nature of a terrier, alerting you of outside activity or strangers in the house. She is people and dog friendly. Once she’s your friend Maggie is very affectionate. She knows sit, is 100% house trained and VERY food motivated. She is also good in a kennel! Maggie would be a great dog for anyone looking for a low maintenance pup. She is low-medium energy and will be happy relaxing and lifetime binging or walks at the park. She is ready to be someone’s best friend!

Maggie is up to date on vaccines, scheduled to be spayed and then begin her heartworm treatment which is covered by the rescue.
