Bruins forward Chris Wagner was seen earlier this week mixing it up- literally- at Harpoon's Seaport brewery, as he helped to brew Don't Poke the Bear, a collaboration beer between the Bruins and the brewery.
Wagner, a Walpole native, signed with the Bruins in 2018…. DON'T POKE THE BEAR is a brew made with black honey, a superfood that conveniently matches the Bruins' black-and-gold color scheme.
Next Wednesday, Feb 12th Harpoon Brewery (located at 306 Northern Avenue) is hosting a Don't Poke the Bear Pregame Black & Gold party - starting at 5pm. They want fans to wear their black and gold, play some corn hole, and get ready to score some great prizes. There will be free raffles at the door to enter to win Chris Wagner signed pucks and a silent auction for signed Harpoon swag, a "game day" Harpoon basket, and a pair of Bruins tickets.
Proceeds from the silent auction and six dollars from every case sold will be donated directly to the Corey C. Griffin Foundation, the charity of Wagner's choice.
