Kendra talked with 12 yr old Lydia Denton from North Carolina who invented THE BEAT THE HEAT CAR SEAT - a car seat device that measures the temperature of a car and alerts parents and emergency officials when the temperature inside the car reaches 102 degrees. Not only is this invention genius and long overdue- it came with a $20,000 prize for Lydia, who won the grand prize in the CITGO Fueling Education Student Challenge.
