Sue and Kendra talked with Kristie Kiernan Bouryal, she's one of the Vice Presidents of the Tunnel 2 Towers Foundation and the author of the Discovering Heroes book series. Tunnel To Towers was founded in honor of FDNY Firefighter Stephen Siller, who laid down his life to save others during the September 11 attacks.
For more than 20 years, Tunnel To Towers has supported our nation’s first responders, veterans, and their families by providing them with mortgage-free homes. Recently, the Foundation launched the Tunnel to Towers 9/11 Institute™, as a way to inform future generations about the events of September 11.
