Bindi Irwin is expecting her first child with husband Chandler Powell any day now, and Powell is expressing his pride in his wife for how she's handled the last 9 months.
On Saturday, Powell took to social media with an update on how the couple is doing as they await the arrival of their daughter. "My girls," he began, "In awe every day of how my wife has been handling 9 months of pregnancy."
He continued, "@bindisueirwin, you're going to be the most incredible momma to our Baby Wildlife Warrior. I love you."
Powell's loving words accompanied a couple of photos of the duo together towards the end of Irwin's pregnancy.
Powell and Irwin were married in March of 2020 and announced their pregnancy in August of the same year. "Baby Wildlife Warrior due 2021," Irwin wrote alongside a photo of the pair holding a small Australia Zoo uniform.
Powell and Irwin have since been very open about the progress of their pregnancy, often comparing the size of their child to young wildlife creatures.
Last month, Irwin revealed that the nickname they've given their child, "Baby Wildlife Warrior," is an ode to her late father, Steve Irwin, who came up with the term. "My dad was the first person to create the term 'Wildlife Warrior,'" Irwin told The Bump.
