Despite rumors that they could potentially make a move ahead of Tuesday's 4 p.m. trade deadline, the Patriots stood pat.

Arguably the most valuable and most sought-after piece in their arsenal was Josh Uche. The 2020 third-round pick garnered interest across the league according to multiple reports, but will ultimately remain in New England through the end of the season. He'll be an unrestricted free agent in March.

Some pass rushers that were dealt are former Washington Commanders Montez Sweat and Chase Young. Sweat was dealt to the Chicago Bears for a second-round pick and Young was sent to the San Francisco 49ers for a third-round pick. According to The Athletic's Jeff Howe, the Patriots did their due diligence on Young before he ultimately ended up in the Bay Area.

Howe also reported that despite speculation New England could trade Mac Jones, the team did not receive any calls on the quarterback. They did, however, reportedly receive calls on running back Ezekiel Elliott according to Bleacher Report's Jordan Schultz. SI's Albert Breer reported that listened to offers for Uche, Kyle Dugger, and Mike Onwenu, but didn't budge.

The Patriots will welcome the Commanders to Gillette Stadium this coming weekend having made no moves, and with Washington having traded their top two pass rushers. Mac Jones should have plenty of time in the pocket on Sunday.
