The votes are in and the name of the new baby giraffe at the Fort Worth Zoo is Lucchese.
The calf is named after the Texas boot brand.
People on social media voted on the name. Lucchese got more than 8,000 votes. Other names considered include Jabali, Hickory, and Thor.
Lucchese was born May 7th. Another baby giraffe was born May 5th, that calf is named Peaches.
The births bring to 9 the number of giraffes in the zoo's herd.
