Jada Pinkett Smith walked into the room dripping in gold!

Two weeks after the actress watched her husband Will Smith win the Oscar for Best Actor, Pinkett Smith made her first public appearance over the weekend. And it was a glittering one at that.
At the opening of the Shonda Rhimes Performing Arts Center in Los Angeles, Pinkett Smith wore an stunning and head-turning strapless gold gown that flowed out towards the bottom. She gave the look a pop of color with red lips.
The dress was so stunning, it deserved its own Instagram moment alongside a gold staircase.
Pinkett Smith was in attendance to support her friend, Shonda Rhimes, and her mentor, Debbie Allen. As Yahoo reported, the Debbie Allen Dance Academy will be part of Rhimes’ new arts venue.
Her caption in the gold gown post focused on Allen and credited the choreographer, actor, and director for the glittery look.
“@therealdebbieallen said wrap it all in gold and come let the kids fill your soul,” wrote Pinkett Smith. “Congrats Debbie on the opening of your Debbie Allen Dance Academy! You are the legacy that so many other legacies will stand upon. Thank you for ALL that you do.”
Allen commented back, noting: "You came to SLAY, Honey! LOVE YOU & THANK YOU!"
Pinkett Smith and Allen go way back. "The Matrix: Resurrections" actress worked with Allen when she produced and directed the late-80s sitcom, “A Different World.”
Pinkett Smith’s arrival at the opening was a bit of a surprise as she has mostly flew under the radar following the Smith's Oscar incident, save one small social media post that simply read, "This is a season for healing and I'm here for it."
While she posed on the gala red carpet with actor Samuel L. Jackson – who was the one who gave Smith his Oscar at that ceremony – her 21-year old daughter Willow Smith made a surprise appearance playing guitar with pop star Camila Cabello on "Saturday Night Live" in New York City the same night.
