This morning we spoke to Marisa who is a SPED teacher at Rumney Marsh, a Title 1 middle school in Revere. She absolutely loves what she does but her school doesn’t have a budget at all for classroom supplies. Anything and everything helps and is greatly appreciated! This year I’ll be teaching 8th grade inclusion math and sub-separate science. I’m also the assistant director of our theater club and the head of the 8th-grade yearbook. I love what I do and can’t wait to meet my students on Tuesday! Clear her list HERE!
We also spoke with Kathleen My name is Kathleen Gordon who is a second-grade teacher in Brockton. It is only her second year teaching and is still working towards getting her classroom ready for her wonderful students. This year she has 18 kids who I can’t wait to meet soon! She works in a school serving students in low-income families, which has motivated me even more to provide them as much as possible. For instance, last year many students had unstable/ traumatic home lives and relied on school as their primary source of constancy. With that, it is her goal to be a constant figure in their lives who they can rely on to provide them with what they need to succeed. Clear her list HERE
