Travolta shared a black and white throwback photo of the smiling father and son.

“My dearest Jetty, I miss you more than words can say. I think about you everyday,” the “Pulp Fiction” star captioned the snap. “Happy Birthday. Love, your Dad.”

Jett, who had Autism, passed away in 2009 after suffering a seizure and hitting his head in the bathtub while the family was on vacation in the Bahamas. He was 16.

Travolta shared Jett with his wife Kelly Preston, who passed away from breast cancer in 2020. In addition to Jett, Travolta and Preston went on to have daughter Ella, now 22, and son Benjamin, now 11.

Friends and family shared their loving messages in the comments of Travolta's tribute.

“Happy Birthday Jetty, we love you so much,” wrote his sister Ella.

“Oh John. My hand in yours. X J,” added Jamie Lee Curtis.

Travolta is known for honoring his late son and wife on social media.

Last October, he posted a message for what would have been Preston’s 59th birthday.

"Happy Birthday Kelly. We miss and love you very much,” Travolta captioned a shot of Preston waving on a red carpet.

The “Grease” star previously disclosed how he discussed Jett’s and Preston’s death with his younger son Benjamin.

“I said, ‘But you know, Ben… you always love the truth and I’m going to tell you the truth about life. Nobody knows when they’re gonna go or when they’re going to stay, Your brother left at 16. Too young. Your mother left at 57. That was too young,'" Travolta recounted to Kevin Hart.

"'But who’s to say? I could die tomorrow. You could. Anybody can. So let’s look at it like it’s part of life. You don’t know exactly. You just do your best at trying to live the longest you can.'"
