Over the weekend, the 47-year-old was seen at John F. Kennedy International Airport as she emotionally reunited with her daughter Lily Mo Sheen.
According to the Daily Mail, Lily was with her boyfriend David Schechter as they picked up their mother from airport arrivals.
Beckinsale explained how she and her 22-year-old daughter hadn't seen each other in a long time due to the COVID-19 pandemic. The mother-of-one and ex Michael Sheen are Lily's parents.
On an appearance on "Live with Kelly and Ryan" last week, Beckinsale shared how hard it was not seeing her daughter.
"I haven't seen my daughter for two years because of everything. Also, I went to Canada working and she couldn't come see me," she said. "Two years of not seeing your child is the most preposterous thought."
During the years apart, the mother and daughter were not worried about the long awaited meetup.
"Thank goodness for FaceTime and all that, but we're both panicking that we'll look really old to each other," Beckinsale said.
"My daughter's 22 and looks 8. So she's like, 'I'm just worried that you're going to think I look old,'" Beckinsale continued. "I'm like, 'I'm going to look old!'"
On social media, the star has shared that she is very close with her daughter.
In February of 2020, Beckinsale took to Instagram to celebrate her daughter’s birthday with a sweet tribute. The post showed a set of photos, including throwbacks, wishing Sheen a happy birthday.
“Happy 21st birthday, you amazing fairy person,” wrote Beckinsale, 46. “I love you my Lily, and you’re smaller than the rain hands. Happy birthday, funniest, best, most brilliant angel face ❤️.”
