L.A.-born singer Jhene Aiko provided a gorgeous rendition of “America the Beautiful” dressed in a purple sequined dress, backed by a modest harp during the kick off festivities, with actress Sandra Mae Frank performing alongside her in American Sign Language on behalf of the National Association of the Deaf. Gospel duo Mary Mary also sang a beautiful rendition of "Lift Every Voice and Sing" during the pre-game, accompanied by the L.A. Philharmonic's Youth Orchestra.
38-year-old Country singer Mickey Guyton then took the field in Inglewood draped in blue to perform the national anthem. The Texas native, flanked by members of America's Armed Services, began her piece solo but was backed by a choir decked in white towards the end -- when a flight of six warbirds soared overhead.
