Jennifer Garner wants people to know she contains multitudes.
In a recent interview with Town & Country, the actress opened up saying she most certainly is “nice” and that’s because her “life is lovely.”
However, there’s many facets to the person that is Jennifer Garner.
“I’m not always just nice. I can also be salty, and I can be taciturn, or I can be really serious about what I want to get done,” the “13 Going On 30” star said.
“It’s not that I feel I’m underestimated in that way,” she went on. “I’m not afraid to stand up for myself and say, ‘Just so you know, this isn’t going to fly with me.’ What that happens, I don’t want you to be shocked that I’m a real person.”
Garner’s forward facing persona is usually all smiles in photographs, interviews, and on-camera. The image of a relatable celebrity. She has even been known to buy the coffee for the person behind her in line.
Earlier this year, Garner also stepped outside her “nice” character always doing things for others and doted on herself. She threw her own big 50th birthday party.
“I basically had a wedding for myself,” she told the magazine. “I was so shocked that I was doing it.”
While the party was for her, she did ask all guests to fill 5,000 backpacks with enough food to feed a family of four.
Sounds pretty “nice” for everyone involved!
Jennifer Garner most recently starred with Ryan Reynolds in Netflix’s “The Adam Project.”
