How to watch Disney World’s 50th anniversary celebration events, fireworks at home

Walt Disney World Resort is celebrating its 50th anniversary with two new nighttime events. And even those not at the parks will be able to enjoy them as an early surprise.

One of the new events, "Disney Enchantment" at the Magic Kingdom Park, will be live-streamed at 10:15 p.m. EST giving fans the ability to experience the magic from wherever they are, according to Disney Parks.

Disney World is known for its nighttime firework events that leave some guests waiting for hours to view the spectacle.

The other new event, "Harmonious," was live-streamed on Wednesday night and will become a regular evening event starting on Oct. 1 at EPCOT.

The "Harmonious" show is reported to feature "captivating Disney music, enhanced lighting, stunning fireworks and – for the first time – immersive projection effects that extend from Cinderella Castle down Main Street, U.S.A."

The celebrations will continue for the next 18 months, according to the park, as they look to celebrate 50 years of magic.
