DREAM BIG! The 144th Maryland State Fair presented by Toyota, located in Timonium in Baltimore County, is set for three big weekends this year: Thursday, August 21-Sunday, August 24; Thursday, August 28–Labor Day Monday, September 1; and Thursday, September 4-Sunday, September 7. Thursdays Hours: Gates open at 5 PM. Buildings are open from 5 PM-8 PM; the Exhibition Hall is open from 5 PM-9PM, and the Carnival Midway is Open from 5 PM - close. Fridays, Saturdays, Sundays and Labor Day Monday Hours: Gates open at 9 AM for early risers to watch the start of livestock and horse shows. Buildings are open from 10 AM-8 PM, the Exhibition Hall is open from 10 AM-9 PM; and, the Carnival Midway is open from 10 AM-close. Note: No admission after 9 PM.
