- In an unprecedented, although not entirely suprising move, Nevada Gov. Steve Sisolak order an immediate sweeping closure of all non-essential businesses statewide, including hotels and casinos.
- The order was a bold step that he took to slow the spread of COVID-19.
- As a result, hotels, casinos, bars, eateries, beauty shops, movie theaters, shopping centers and malls must close their doors for 30 days.
- Pharmacies and grocery stores will be allowed to remain open.
- Restaurants that are closing their dining rooms must transition to curbside delivery options.

- The new term has emerged to describe kind COVID acts.
- It started in Canada and it’s being used to describe volunteer efforts across Canada.
- For instance, in Columbus, Ohio, two young cellists put on a porch concert for their 78-year-old neighbor who is self-quarantining at home as a precaution.
- In Seattle, a subscriber to the Seattle Times sent pizzas to the staff working long hours to report on the outbreak in hard-hit Washington state.
- Here locally, my daughter’s teacher sent each child in her class a $5 e-gift card from a local bakery that says, “Because research is better with cupcakes.”

- It’s called “Netflix Party,” and the Google Chrome extension lets multiple users watch Netflix at the same time.

- You can even type messages to one another while watching the show in real-time.
