Today is the day to honor the brave men and women who have served or are currently serving our country.
Many businesses are offering free or discounted items to veterans today.
Some of those include:
Dunkin is offering veterans and active duty military a free donut of their choice.
Denny’s is inviting them from 5am to noon to enjoy a complimentary Build Your Own Grand Slam.
Wendy’s is offering a free small breakfast combo with a valid military ID.
Also starting today, U.S. military veterans and Gold Star Families may receive a lifetime “America the Beautiful” pass to national parks, forests, wildlife refuges, preserves and other federal lands.
And today, there is free entrance for everyone at all national parks and forests.
