o Yesterday the Recording Academy announced that the 64th Annual GRAMMY Awards have been rescheduled for Sunday, April 3, 2022.
o The announcement comes after the Recording Academy released a statement about the award show’s postponement from its initial January 31, 2022, date.
o The show is still set to be hosted once again by Trevor Noah.
o However, the show will no longer take place at Los Angeles’ Crypto.com Arena (formerly known as the Staples Center).
o The ceremony will now be held at the MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas, Nevada.
o This is the first time the show will be held in Nevada.
#CovidTests
o The federal government's website offering free at-home COVID-19 tests to Americans opened up a day earlier than expected.
o You can now get free tests on the website COVIDTests.gov.
o It went live on Tuesday “to troubleshoot and ensure a smooth official launch.”
o The program, which is run through the U.S. Postal Service, offers a limit of four free tests per household.
o Orders will start shipping for free in late January.
#Wordle
o Everyone is obsessed with the daily word-guessing game hosted by a British site called Power Language.
o But there’s been confusion because people assume it’s an app.
o So, an OLD app called Wordle has gotten a ton of download…about 200,000 in the first week alone.
o It’s totally different and has nothing to do with the game everyone’s playing.
o But the guy who owns that old app has decided he shouldn’t money off the confusion so he’s DONATING it all!
o He says he’s made about $2,000 so far and it’s going up every day.
o He’ll announce the full amount at the end of the month.
