· Miley Cyrus is going back to where it all started with a new Disney+ project, a “Hannah Montana 20th Anniversary Special,” premiering March 24.
· The special will be filmed in front of a live studio audience and will feature Miley revisiting music and iconic moments from the show.
· Disney is also reportedly recreating familiar sets, including Hannah’s closet and the Stewart family living room, which is going to hit longtime fans right in the childhood.
· Viewers will also get never-before-seen archival footage from the original “Hannah Montana” era.
· Miley will sit down for an interview hosted by Alex Cooper from the “Call Her Daddy” podcast, which is an unexpected pairing, but kind of genius.
· Miley released a statement reflecting on what the role meant to her, saying “Hannah Montana will always be a part of who I am,” and calling the special her way of celebrating and thanking fans for sticking with her for 20 years.
· Disney has not confirmed whether other cast members will appear, so fans are already speculating about possible surprise reunions.
