o   The singer and business mogul made an appearance at CinemaCon here in Las Vegas yesterday with a pretty smurfy announcement.

o   She will produce and star as Smurfette in the new Smurfs movie.

o   She’ll also be writing songs for the upcoming, yet untitled film.

o   The “Smurfs” movie will debt in Theaters on February 14th, 2025.

o   She said, “I hope this gives me a little bit of cool points with my kids one day.”

#Bluesky

o   It’s the hottest invite in the country right now!

o   Twitter users are leaving the social media site and trying to get invited to former Twitter CEO Jack Dorsey’s decentralized Twitter alternative Bluesky.

o   The app is available on Android and iOS and is accepting new users on either a waitlist or if a friend is already on the platform gives you an invitation.

o   As of now, Bluesky has fairly basic features…it allows users to write 300-character posts and replies, as well as share and repost images.

o   Over a million users are now on the service’s waitlist.

o   Many Twitter users are leaving the app since Elon Musk became CEO and as paywalled a number of features on the site.

#KitKat

o   Ok is this a good idea or is it more like “gimme a break”?

o   Kit Kat cereal is coming.

o   General Mills is rolling it out in the U.S. after it launched in England last month.

o   Sadly, they didn't break up REAL Kit Kats and toss them in a box.  It's just supposed to taste like Kit Kats.

o   Each piece is a little square with ridges.  So they look like a tiny version of four Kit Kat bars before you break them apart.

o   This isn't the first time a cereal company has gone the candy route.  There’s been Peeps, Sour Patch Kids, Hershey’s Kiss cereal and Reese's Puffs have been around since 1994.

o   Kit Kats are one of the most popular candies in the world though, so it's big news.

o   The new cereal version will be available in stores nationwide next month.
