o On the series, a character says, “Why do you care? You go through men faster than Taylor Swift."
o The show premiered on February 24th but Taylor must have just noticed the reference over the weekend and she was none too pleased.
o She tweeted, “Hey Ginny & Georgia, 2010 called and it wants its lazy, deeply sexist joke back. How about we stop degrading hard working women by defining this horse sh** as FuNnY. Also, @netflix after Miss Americana this outfit doesn’t look cute on you. Happy Women’s History Month I guess.”
o Swifties immediately started giving the show low ratings on IMDB and Rotten Tomatoes.
o They also got the hashtag #RespectTaylorSwift to trend.
