o The first look of the highly anticipated “Little Mermaid” live-action remake has been unveiled at Disney’s D23 expo, showing the R&B star and actress in the iconic role of Ariel.
o The new trailer debuted the first footage which showcases her singing “Part of Your World.”
o We saw some differences between the animated movie and the live action.
o Bailey’s fins appear to be a bit longer than the cartoon version, plus she’s ditched the conical shell bra underwater look for something a bit more sophisticated.
o Javier Bardem plays King Triton and Melissa McCarthy will play Ursula.

o Yesterday was Game 1 of the WNBA finals and the #1 seeded Aces beat the No. 3 seed Connecticut Sun at the Michelob Ultra Arena.
o The score was 67-64.
o A’ja Wilson had 24 points, 11 rebounds and four blocked shots, while Chelsea Gray had 21 points and three assists.
o The Aces set a Las Vegas-era attendance record with a sold-out crowd of 10,135.
o Game two of the 2022 WNBA Finals between the Aces and Sun is slated for Tuesday, September 13 beginning at 6 pm PT on ESPN.

§ Choco Salted Toffee Shake: Chocolate frozen custard and salted toffee sauce hand-spun and topped with whipped cream and chocolate toffee sprinkles.
