o    He’s speaking out about what happened with Taylor Swift.

o    It all started after he purchased Big Machine Label Group for $300 million, which gave him ownership of her previous albums and master recordings.

o    Taylor said that she was “sad and grossed out” by the news and said that she’s dealt with “incessant, manipulative bullying” by him for years.

o    In a new interview with Variety, he says, “I regret, and it makes me sad that Taylor had that reaction to the deal. … All of what happened has been very confusing and not based on anything factual. I don’t know what story she was told. I asked for her to sit down with me several times, but she refused. I offered to sell her the catalog back and went under NDA, but her team refused.”

o    He also went on to say, “She and I only met briefly three or four times in the past, and all our interactions were really friendly and kind. I find her to be an incredibly talented artist and wish her nothing but the best.”

o    He sold the masters to someone else in November of 2020 and Taylor said he would not even quote her team a price.

#Subway

o    Something fishy is going on with their tuna sandwich.

o    Commercial lab tests again found no identifiable tuna DNA in the sandwich that they call tuna.

o    The New York Times bought Subway tuna sandwiches from three different locations in Los Angeles, and then sent frozen samples to a commercial food testing lab.

o    This happened after two California women filed a class-action lawsuit against the company in January alleging that the Subway’s tuna sandwich aren’t actually made of the fish.

o    The lab results read, “No amplifiable tuna DNA was present in the sample and so we obtained no amplification products from the DNA. Therefore, we cannot identify the species.”

o    So, what is it? A spokesman for the lab said that it’s either so heavily processed that whatever they could pull out, they couldn’t identify. Or they got some and there’s just nothing there that’s tuna.”

o    Subway maintains that it “delivers 100 percent cooked tuna to its restaurants, which is mixed with mayonnaise and used in freshly made sandwiches, wraps and salads that are served to and enjoyed by our guests.”
