o    The Clark County Commission voted yesterday to require mask use for employees when indoors in public spaces at their place of work.

o    The requirement is for all people, regardless of vaccination status.

o    The mitigation measure goes into effect tonight at midnight and it will continue through August 17th.

o    Coronavirus cases and hospitalizations have rose steadily over the past several weeks as the Delta variant spreads.

o    Nevada’s COVID test positivity rate hit 12% on Monday and Clark County rates specifically have climbed to 13.5%.

o    Her new album Solar Power comes out on August 29th but we’re going to get a little taste of it today.

o    The second single off of her album just dropped!

o    It’s called “Stoned at the Nail Salon.”

o    He is now the youngest artist to earn 100 entries on the Hot 100.

o    His new song “Stay” with the Kid Laroi just appeared on the Hot 100 chart this week, giving him the honor.

o    He is 27 years and four months old.

o    The previous record-holder was Drake, who got his 100th Hot 1—hit when he was 29 years old and 11 months old in 2015.

o    Justin is the 11th artist with at least 100 songs on the Hot 100, along with Drake, Glee, Lil Wayne, Taylor Swift, Future, Nicki Minaj, Elvis Presley, Kanye West, Chris Brown and Jay-Z.

o    Dentists are warning people against trying a dangerous new viral trend: cleaning your teeth with a Mr. Clean Magic Eraser.

o    The trend gained traction on TikTok when someone posted a video using the cleaning pad on their teeth.

o    Magic Eraser is a Mr. Clean-branded line of cleaning pads made with chemicals that should not be consumed or used on any body parts.

o    Dentists say that the bleach is too strong and it will cause the enamel to eradicate on your teeth.

o    The sponge is made of melamine foam which is abrasive like sandpaper.
