o    She and her mother, Tina, owned a minority stake but now they’ve regained total ownership of the fashion label.

o    She said she never imagined her namesake brand would grow into what it is today, but she credits much of the success to the mentorship and guidance she received from late shoe designer. Vince Camuto.

o    Taking time to slow things down is being celebrated!

o    The concept of “slow living” is where you do more self-care, like “me-time” and saying no to invites.

o    "Slow living" fans argue life is better when you can appreciate things as they happen . . . rather than manically ticking things off your to-do list.

o    It's unclear if the pandemic had an impact on this becoming a thing.  But it definitely forced people to spend more time at home . . . and it cut back on the running around that many people did in their pre-pandemic hustle.

o   Soggy fries? Not at Wendy’s!

o    In late August, the chain announced that it was changing its French fries for the first time in over a decade.

o    They say their new Hot & Crispy Fries have been redesigned to ensure that they’d stay hot and crispy for up to 30 minutes after they’re taken out of the fryer.

o    Perfect for those using the drive-thru or ordering through a delivery app!

o    And now they are guaranteeing that your fries will be both hot AND crispy when you reach in the bag or they will replace them, no questions asked.

o    They have also designated every Friday in October as a "Fry-Day” so anyone who orders a medium Hot & Crispy Fries through the Wendy’s app gets a free menu item to go with it.
