#MarcAndreFleury
o It’s the end of the Flower era in Las Vegas.
o Yesterday, the Vegas Golden Knights traded the future HOF goalie to the Chicago Blackhawks in exchange for forward Mikael Hakkarainen.
o Vegas Golden Knights General Manager Kelly McCrimmon said in a news conference, “My job is to try to make our team better, and to do that, you need cap space to improve.”
o Fleury would have counted $7 million against the salary cap next season and Chicago was not on his 10-team no-trade list.
o Fleury’s agent, Allan Walsh, released a statement from him that said, “I want to thank all the amazing fans in Vegas and my teammates for four incredible years together. You embraced me and my family from day one and made playing games at the Fortress one of the great joys of my life. We will miss playing in Vegas very much but I am grateful for my time in your city.”
#BTS
o BTS is bridging the gap between K-Pop and R&B in their latest cover.
o The renowned international group made their first appearance on BBC Radio 1's Live Lounge and boy, what an appearance it was.
o The group also paid tribute to the iconic Hip Hop/R&B ballad, "I'll Be Missing You" from Puff Daddy and Faith Evans— created to honor the tragic death of The Notorious B.I.G..
o The song also famously samples The Police's song, “Every Breath You Take.” The BTS version not only had RM rapping the intro, but they also sang and rapped a portion in Japanese.
#ArianaGrande
o We got our first video promo peek at her run on The Voice.
o In the "Voice Campout" video that dropped yesterday, Blake Shelton strums an acoustic guitar as he sits in a lawn chair in the woods with fellow coaches John Legend and Kelly Clarkson.
o They then inform Ariana about the tradition when a new coach comes on the show…singing for the group.
o Ariana shows off her pipes to the group with a rendition of “Hopelessly Devoted to You” from Grease.
o She’ll join Season 21 when it debuts on September 20th.
#Lays
o Frito-Lay just debuted a new line of potato chips that taste like other chips and snacks.
o The three flavors are Cool Ranch Doritos potato chips, Cheetos potato chips, and chips that taste like Funyuns.
o It's not clear how many stores have them, but Target.com has all three. And they're a limited time only thing, so they might only be around for summer.
