o    The “Queen of Christmas” shared a video on social media announcing the beginning of holidays while donning a red glittering gown and smashing pumpkins with a candy cane-striped stick.

o    In the background, her iconic 1994 holiday track “All I Want For Christmas Is You” was playing.

o    She also teased an exciting announcement that is coming on November 5th.

o    And, FYI, this time of year even has its own hashtag: #MariahSZN.

#Metallica

o    The band is ready to teach their ways in a new master class called, “Being a Band.”

o    The class entails 15 video lessons, for a total of 2 hours and 45 minutes.

o    They’ll go over topics like forming a band and how to communicate with different egos and writing songs.

o    They'll even break down some of their songs, too.

o    Lead singer, James Hetfield says, “We have sustained our bond for more than 40 years because we've learned a lot about each other and ourselves over time. In our class we not only teach MasterClass members how we write songs and find inspiration for our music, but how the experiences we've had together have contributed to successful creative collaboration."

o    For more information you can go to MasterClass.com.

o    They’ll be performing at Allegiant Stadium on February 25th.

#ArmBarn

o    PETA is asking major league Baseball to stop using the term “bullpen” for the place where relief pitchers warm up during a game.

o    PETA says, “Words matter, and baseball ‘bullpens’ devalue talented players and mock the misery of sensitive animals. Strike out the word ‘bullpen,’ which references the holding area where terrified bulls are kept before slaughter, in favor of a more modern, animal friendly term.”

o    The “ore modern, animal-friendly term” that they came up with is “arm barn.”

#McRib

o    The McRib is back at McDonald’s nationwide this week, for a limited time.

o    It’s the 40th anniversary of the sandwich, which first debuted in 1981 and was a huge flop.

o    McDonald’s is also releasing a McRib NFT, which is a “non-fungible token” where you can “own” an exclusive digital representation of the McRib.

o    They’re releasing 10 NFTs, but they’re not auctioning them off.

o    They started giving them away on Twitter yesterday. To enter all you have to do is retweet McDonald’s NFT tweet, which is pinned to the top of their page.
