#OliviaRodrigo

o    Her new album Sour had the biggest week of 2021.

o    It opened at No. 1 on the Billboard 200 chart with 295,000 albums sold during its first week of release.

o    It beat out Taylor Swift’s Fearless (Taylor’s Version) when it sold 291,000 units back in April.

o    And it had a great streaming week, too! It had the second-largest streaming week for a non-R&B/Hip-Hop Album, totaling 300.73 million on-demand streams of the album’s 11 tracks.

o    Ariana Grande’s Thank U, Next, continues to hold that record with 307.07 million streams in its first week.

o    And one other note on its debut. It brings just the second person named Olivia to No. 1 on the Billboard 200. Before Olivia Rodrigo, the only Olivia to top the chart was Olivia Newton-John with two No. 1 albums in 1974 and 1975.

#RyanReaves

o    The Vegas Golden Knights forward Ryan Reaves has been suspended for two games.

o    This comes after a league hearing for the roughing/unsportsmanlike conduct penalty he received after an incident in Sunday’s game against the Avalanche’s Ryan Graves.

o    There was a lot of pushing and shoving in the penalty-filled game in Denver as Colorado beat the Golden Knights 7-1 in Game 1 of the series.

o    Game 2 is on Wednesday in Colorado at 7pm.

#Google

o    Do you google your own name? If you do, you’re not alone.

o    A new survey found one in 11 Americans google themselves every day.

o    Another 5% said they do it about once a week.

o    Almost 25% of people do it at least once a month and another 20% said at least once a year.

o    Just half of us do it less often than that or have never googled themselves.

#Amazon #ZenBooths

o    The company announced a new feature in its warehouses called “ZenBooths,” where workers can go to get away when they feel overwhelmed.

o    They immediately got mocked for it online.

o    Each one is about the size of a porta-potty and the inside is supposed to be calming but it basically looks like a tiny office with a few small plants.

o    There’s a computer with pre-loaded “AmaZEN” videos about mindful meditation and mental health.

o    People online immediately labelled them “crying booths.”

o   Amazon deleted their tweets about the program so it’s not clear if they’re keeping the booths or not.
