o The singer recently opened up about her battle with COVID last year and she’s sharing details.
o Both she and her son, Jameson, were very sick and the singer was convinced that she wouldn’t make it.
o She said in an interview that she even re-wrote her will and she called her best friend to send her daughter a message.
o She said, “At the point where I thought it was over for us, I called my best friend and I said ‘I just need to you tell Willow how much I loved her. It was really, really scary and really bad.”
o Luckily she has recovered and she is set to release a new album, “All I Know So Far: the Setlist,” on May 21st, along with the first single and title track off of it this Thursday at 9pm, part of an Audacy World Premier.

o The Sun is reporting that four of the five original Spice Girls are on board for filming a sequel to the 1997 film, Spice World, which would release next year.
o Ginger Spice (Geri Halliwell), Sporty Spice (Melanie Chisholm), Scary Spice (Mel Brown) and Baby Spice (Emma Bunton) are all reportedly on board for the sequel and our pre-teen hearts couldn’t be happier!
o A source says, “The girls have been talking about how to mark the film’s anniversary and we are actively considering making a tongue-in-cheek sequel.”
o The only one not on board yet is Posh Spice (Victoria Beckham) but the key word is YET.
o The Spice World anniversary isn’t the only big celebration the girl gang has coming up. The group will celebrate the 25th anniversary of their hit “Wannabe” on July 8.

o Wallethub has just come out with their list of the Best and Worst Cities for Working Moms.
o They judged all 50 states and the District of Columbia on 17 key metrics in areas such as childcare, professional opportunities and work-life balance.
o Massachusetts is the best state for working moms, while Louisiana is the worst.
o Nevada was unfortunately in the bottom 10 at number 6, scoring poorly on child-care costs and work-life balance.

o The day is often mistaken for Mexico’s Independence Day which is actually on September 16th.
o Cinco de Mayo commemorates the Mexican army’s victory over Napoleon III’s (the nephew of Napoleon Bonaparte) French forces at the Battle of Puebla on May 5th, 1862.
o There’s a Cinco de Mayo festival with food, music, games and COVID vaccines at the East Las Vegas Community Center.
o There’s another one at Downtown Container Park that starts at 5pm.
o Of course, many restaurants and casinos will have their own deals and celebrations throughout the day.
