o Last night a sold-out crowd filled Allegiant Stadium for the final match in the CONCACAF Gold Cup which features teams from North and Central America and the Caribbean.
o This is the 7the time that the USA and Mexico had met in the final with Mexico going in with a 5-1 advantage.
o But last night the USA won 1-0 in an overtime goal!
o Miles Robinson had the header from the center of the box to the center of the goal assisted by Kellyn Acosta.
o Congratulations to the Gold Cup 2021 Champions!

o Yesterday two high jumpers battled to a tie and were headed for a jump-off.
o Gianmarco Tamberi of Italy and Mutaz Essa Barshim of Qatar made the decision to call it off and just share the gold medal.
o That is actually allowed in the rules!
o They shook on the shared victory plan and excitedly embraced.
o It was an awesome moment!

o Rolling Stone has just named her “Formation” video the best music video of all time.
o They ranked 100 videos and it came out on top but that wasn’t the only Beyonce sighting on the list.
o Her video for “Single Ladies” came in at number 12 and her duet with Lady Gaga, “Telephone,” placed at 66.
o Coming in second was “Hurt” by Johnny Cash and at number 3 was “Vogue” by Madonna.
