o Last night the Vegas Golden Knights kicked off the 2021-2022 hockey season against the Seattle Kraken.
o It was the first game for the expansion team!
o The VGK scored first on a goal from Max Pacioretty followed by goal Jonathan Marshessault.
o Nick Hague scored in the second period along with the Ryan Donato from the Kraken.
o Their first franchise goal was followed by their second from Jaden Schwartz.
o Morgan Geekie tied the game up in the third period but Chandler Stephenson got the go ahead goal after the puck deflected off his skate, giving Vegas the win, 4-3.
o The Golden Knights head to LA to face the Kings tomorrow night.

o Captain Kirk plans to boldly go where no Starfleet captain has gone before as he heads to space today.
o Space tourism company Blue Origin makes its second crewed flight ever today, this time carrying William Shatner, the alter ego of one of the most iconic space travelers ever.
o He’s joined in the New Shepard capsule by Chris Boshuizen, former NASA engineer and co-founder of satellite imaging company Planet Labs; Glen de Vries, an entrepreneur and executive with French software company Dassault Systemes; and Blue Origin's vice president of mission and flight operations, Audrey Powers.
o The four blast off from Blue Origin's west Texas launch facility this morning.
o A few minutes into the flight, the capsule will separate from the booster and continue on to suborbital space, where the crew will get to experience weightlessness and an epic view of Earth before reentering the atmosphere for a parachute-assisted soft landing in the desert.
o The whole experience lasts around 15 minutes.

o The couple did an interview with British GQ and discussed their personal issues.
o Megan opened up saying “We may look at somebody and think, ‘That person’s so beautiful. Their life must be so easy,’” she noted. “They most likely don’t feel that way about themselves.” When asked if that was the case with her, she said, “Yeah, I have body dysmorphia. I have a lot of deep insecurities.”
o MGK said that not only does he suffer from post-traumatic stress from his difficult upbringing and drug issues, but he also has an artist’s temperament.
o He’s working on being as grounded as Megan, but he’s not there yet. But he says, “She’s helped me realize that you can’t bury your trauma.”

o We heard rumors about this last year but now it’s official!
o Mountain Dew is releasing a gingerbread soda for the holidays.
o d It's called Mountain Dew Gingerbread Snap'd and it’s described as “Mountain Dew with a, quote, "blast of artificial gingerbread flavor."
o They haven't revealed a release date yet. All we know is it'll hit shelves before the end of the year.
