#JLo #AlexRodriguez
o Well, it looks like there may be some bad blood in their breakup.
o Alex was recently asked by photographers how he felt about the reunion between Jennifer Lopez and Ben Affleck and he responded, “Go Yankees.”
o A-Rod used to play for the Yankees, which are a major rival to Affleck’s favorite team, the Boston Red Sox.
o The two were recently in Montana together and sources say that Lopez had a great time with him and that “she is happy with him and enjoys spending time with him.”
#Mattel
o The toy company has just launched what they’re calling Mattel PlayBack, a toy take back program that will extend the life of unused and outgrown toys and provides a way to keep the materials out of landfills.
o The free service allows parents to send in the old toys, although right now they are only accepting Barbie, Matchbox and Mega toys, (other toys may be accepted in the future).
o The company will then use the materials from those used toys for future Mattel products. Any material that can’t be used will either be downcycled or converted from waste to energy.
o In order to take part in the program, folks in the U.S. and Canada can get a free shipping label on the Mattel website.
o They’ll have to pack and mail the toys back to Mattel, and then toys will be sorted, processed and recycled.
#DryerSheets
o Next time you take a trip to the mailbox, you may find a dryer sheet.
o Don’t panic…no one is playing a trick on you. If anything, it could help you.
o A post from a postal carrier on Reddit has gone viral after they informed people about why you may find a dryer sheet stuck inside of your mailbox this summer.
o He said, "I can’t tell you how many times, especially during this part of the year, where I’ve opened up a box to see a little nest with three-to-five Yellowjackets just chillin. If I’m really unlucky, they will have made their nest at the very back of the box so I wind up sticking my hand in not knowing they are there. We all know how temperamental these little insects are and merely existing in their presence is enough to piss them off. Last year alone I was stung 10 times on 10 separate occasions."
o His post continued, "So please, if you one day randomly see a dryer sheet at the back of your mailbox, just know that your carrier more than likely put it there to deter these Satanic creatures from building their home in it."
