#PrimeDay
o Shoppers can start counting down to Amazon Prime Day!
o It’s just three weeks away. The annual sale will be held June 21st and 22nd. That's the earliest start ever after last year's event was delayed to October due to the pandemic.
o But the tech giant is actually kicking things this week with a new promotion to support small businesses. Prime members who spend ten-bucks on items from 300-thousand-plus sellers will get a ten-dollar credit to use during the sale.
o Current Prime members can take advantage of early sales and exclusive offers leading up to Prime Day.
#PizzaHut
o Pizza Hut has been trying to take advantage of our '90s nostalgia with a marketing campaign called "NEWstalgia" which celebrates things like Book It pins and those tabletop Pac-Man games they had.
o And they just announced they're bringing back a thin-crust pizza called "The Edge" that originally debuted in 1997.
o The big selling point was that all the toppings went the whole way to the edge of the pie, so no crust. Which might not seem like a huge innovation now but it was apparently INSANE in the late '90s.
o The pizza is made with their Thin 'N Crispy crust, which is the first type of dough they used at Pizza Hut in the 1950s.
