o   The streaming service is blaming an intern for an email gaffe.

o   They sent out a blank template called “Integration Test Email #1.”

o   Just hours later, the company said the message was intended to be an empty test email, saying “We apologize for the inconvenience, and as the jokes pile in, yes, it was the intern. No, really. And we’re helping them through it.”

o   Instead of subscribers responding with anger, many used the opportunity to talk of their own work screw ups.

#ElfEars

o   It’s the new plastic surgery trend that is big in China.

o   Many women are getting surgery to get “elf ears,” not to look like an elf, but because they claim that by enlarging their ears, their faces look slimmer and thus, more attractive.

o   The cost is around $1500 and the procedure typically involves injecting hyaluronic acid, which is often used in dermal fillers, into the ears so that they become plump.

o   Another way is to insert a piece of cartilage behind the ear to prop it forward so that they’re visible from a frontal face view.
