Thrillist put out a beginning of the year Absolute Best Pizza in ATX list. It includes several staples and newbies. Of course being a Thick Crust Girlie I lean towards the yummy Via 313. Bready squares of pizza joy! A newbie to try on the list is Dough Boy. Looks like a happy compromise when it comes to a thin crust and thick crust lover enjoy a pizza together. Pinthouse Pizza with their award winning craft beers . So many slices .. so many choices. Enjoy the hunt for your favs.

The photo up top my NYE Pizza I made and enjoyed with honey Ted and Rudy Roo to ring in 2022. We enjoy thick crust, so broke in our new deep dish pizza pan. We found it's bigger than the one we had to replace. That just means more yummy pizza to enjoy.
It's easy to make crusts from beer bread mixes using beer or Coke / Dr. Pepper (Trader Joe's Beer Bread Mix should be out soon. Yummy Rocks a crust.) to pretzel dough kits. Our NYE pizza crust was compliments of Ben's Soft Pretzels Kit. A Christmas goody from our niece Kaiti. It was one of the yummiest pizza crusts yet! Great leftover slices too.
