Mark Wahlberg is dedicated to his craft.

If you had to squint to make out that was Wahlberg with a shaved head the other day, wait until you see the pics leaked from his next film, “Father Stu.”

While Wahlberg explained to Jimmy Kimmel recently that he needed to pack on some pounds for the role, fans are getting their first glimpse at how much he needed to pack on — a formidable 30 pounds in just six weeks.

Men’s Health reports that some quick snaps from the set of the movie were leaked onto Twitter a couple days ago, and they show a Wahlberg who looks less like that lovable man-child from the “Ted” flicks and more like the 3 p.m. regular in the corner bar that Ted would go get drunk with.

But that’s not the plot of “Father Stu.” The film is about Rev. Stuart Long, a former heavyweight boxer turned priest.

Wahlberg’s latest shorn-dome look was obviously left over from the “Father Stu” character, otherwise, you’d barely recognize the svelt “Daddy’s Home” star.

The actor now claims he’s stuck in some kind of cycle of wanting to keep chowing down on junk food thanks to the pre-filming weight gain regime.

"I'm like, 'Dude, I've been on such a regimen for so long, I just want to eat everything in sight.' I want to go to bakeries, I want to go to Denny's, I want to get pancakes. I want to get everything that I could possibly get my hands on," he told Kimmel.

Wahlberg’s personal chef, Lawrence Duran, explained the hard work that goes into the actor’s transformation.

“We meet with a team of doctors who do his bloodwork and a nutritionist who gives us a full breakdown of what his body needs, what his body's lacking and basically come up with a meal plan accordingly.” Duran told E! News.

The chef continued: “We go to a specialist every two weeks to see where we're at and adjust things… It's not easy for anyone to take in that much food even though we're breaking it up into smaller meals. He's eating about every three hours. We do good carbohydrates, dark green vegetables, and then, just switch up the protein throughout the day and, at least, a dozen eggs a day."

Seems like he could just hit up Applebee’s for a while then go play Mortal Kombat all night, but what do we know?
